About This workshop
This immersive workshop empowers participants to design and implement sustainable Internet of Things solutions. Attendees will gain hands-on experience assembling low-power sensor nodes using microcontrollers, programming them to collect environmental data, and deploying them in simulated scenarios. The session will cover best practices for energy harvesting and efficiency, alongside an introduction to edge AI techniques for localized data processing, reducing cloud reliance, and enhancing responsiveness. By the end of the day, participants will have built a functional eco-sensor prototype capable of real-time monitoring and basic intelligent decision-making, ready for further development in sustainable smart environments.
