About This hackathon
Join the Appalachian AI Ascent in Morgantown, a premier hackathon dedicated to leveraging artificial intelligence for West Virginia's unique needs. Participants will collaborate in teams to develop innovative AI-driven solutions addressing critical local problems, from enhancing rural broadband access and optimizing agricultural practices to improving educational outcomes and promoting sustainable tourism. Mentors from academia and industry will guide teams through the ideation, development, and presentation phases, culminating in pitches for tangible impact.
