About This hackathon
The Palmetto Eco-Code Challenge invites developers, designers, and environmental enthusiasts to collaborate on solutions for South Carolina's unique coastal ecosystems. Participants will work in teams to build innovative applications and prototypes addressing issues like sea-level rise, wetland preservation, sustainable tourism, and marine debris. Mentors from environmental science and software engineering fields will provide guidance, culminating in presentations to a panel of judges and community leaders. This is a chance to leverage technology for tangible ecological impact and foster a greener future for the Lowcountry.
