About This hackathon
This intensive single-day hackathon challenges developers, engineers, and environmental enthusiasts to create innovative technological solutions addressing critical climate issues in Wyoming. Participants will focus on two key areas: optimizing wind energy production through predictive analytics and IoT, and developing smart systems for water resource management, including conservation, quality monitoring, and efficient distribution for agriculture and communities. Teams will leverage real-world data sets provided by local agencies and industry partners to build prototypes that can make a tangible impact on the state's sustainability efforts. Mentors from academia and industry will guide participants, culminating in pitches to a panel of judges by evening.
