About This hackathon
The Badger State Climate Code-a-Thon is a 12-hour sprint focused on leveraging technology to address critical climate-related issues facing Wisconsin. Participants will form teams to tackle challenges such as improving water quality in our Great Lakes and inland waters, optimizing sustainable agricultural practices for dairy and crop production, and developing early warning systems for extreme weather events. Mentors from local universities and environmental organizations will guide teams, fostering innovative solutions that can positively impact the state's natural resources and economy. This event aims to connect developers, environmentalists, and community leaders to build tangible prototypes for a more resilient Wisconsin.
