About This hackathon
Arctic Data Forge 2026 invites developers, scientists, and innovators to Anchorage to create impactful technology solutions for climate change in Alaska. Participants will leverage vast datasets on permafrost thaw, sea-level rise, and wildlife migration to build tools that inform policy, empower communities, and protect the delicate Arctic ecosystem. This immersive 12-hour event will feature expert mentors from environmental science and software engineering, culminating in presentations of prototypes designed to foster climate resilience and sustainable practices across the state.
